Tableau D’Hôte Theatre is an award-winning company that has earned a reputation for being Montréal’s home for Canadian Theatre. Since its founding in 2005, Tableau D’Hôte has earned critical and peer acclaim by being the only existing English-language independent company in the city that exclusively produces from the Canadian canon, presenting both established and emerging Canadian writers whose works have not yet appeared on a Montréal
stage.

With 20 productions under its belt, Tableau D’Hôte has quickly made a significant impact in Montréal theatre. Noted for its surreal design choices and evocative use of multidiscplinary forms of storytelling such as dance, spoken poetry, and live music, Tableau D’Hôte Theatre prides itself in sharing deeply visceral theatre to audiences.
